If your needs have changed, or you no longer require an On-Premise help desk, you can easily migrate to the hosted version of our software.
Migrating to Deskpro Cloud from your current account is simple; we'll provide you with an access token, and one command later, your migration is in progress.
There are several reasons why you may have opted for an On-Premise deployment with Deskpro in the past. However, if your needs have evolved, we can transition you smoothly to our Cloud platform without any disruptions.
Our Cloud Engineers set you up for a painless migration to Cloud from your current On-Premise instance.

We provide a migration token that will authenticate you to our services. Enter the token when prompted on the command line to begin your Cloud migration.

You'll need to configure new domains for each of your brands ending in '.deskpro.com' to enable a smooth migration across to Cloud.

You'll need to configure email accounts that follow the Cloud email address rules. Existing email addresses are added as aliases for the '@yourmasterdomain.deskpro.com' accounts.
Once your help desk is moved to Cloud, our team will upgrade you to Horizon as part of the migration process. So you won't have to worry about upgrading to the latest version of Deskpro.

The time it takes to perform the move depends entirely on the state of your help desk.
Larger help desks mean larger exports, so there is an overhead of simply uploading and downloading the data and extracting it. If your help desk is outdated, then there's also the time needed to upgrade it to the same version as the Cloud platform.
The two things you can do to reduce the time it takes is to pre-update your instance of Deskpro to the latest version and then make sure you have a fast host to upload your data to (the faster the host, the faster you can upload it and the faster our Engineers can download it).
Yes, the cloud platform allows you to set up a custom domain. We also automatically manage HTTPS certificates for free.
